New Mendenhall BRANCH!

So yeah, remember how last week I was saying how here in Mendenhall, we don't have a ward or branch, and how we were meeting as a group? KIDDING! Yesterday at church the Jackson Stake Presidency came to the house in Mendenhall (where we have church..lol) and announced Mendenhall as a branch!! SICK!!!! So pumped-hopefully we get a building to meet in soon!

It was pretty cool to have church inside of a home though- it felt like we were attending church in Joseph Smith's time or something haha ALSO PRESIDENT BOONE (Stake President in Jackson) LEFT THE BEST BLESSING OVER MENDENHALL AT CHURCH YESTERDAY!!

He told us that missionary work will EXPLODE here in this area, and that the Lord is leaving a blanket of protection from the adversary over this area as long as we follow the teachings of Christ! SO COOL!! Also, after setting apart Brother Cothern as our new branch President, President Boone also told him that he saw a vision while giving his blessing that MANY people will come to the gospel and that missionary work here will explode! So if that isn't motivation for us to go out and work everyday, I don't know what is!

The Williams also came to Mendenhall for church, LOVE THEM!! It was so fun to experience church in a home for the first time all together haha.

Also this week Sis.Sandoval and I talked the Zone Leaders into letting us go up to Jackson (Belhaven college) to watch a Christmas program that they did! I guess the school was the first ever in the world to have a singing Christmas Tree? Idk the choir was up in the stands in the shape of a tree that had LED lights that went along to the songs-it was pretty fun. I love Christmas.
