2ND TRANSFER!!
I have officially survived the first 6 weeks out here as a missionary in the MJM mission!
I had to say goodbye to Sis.Pitt earlier this week :( Ugh I miss her so much already!! Missionary work was the best with her and I am so grateful that she was able to train me and teach me how to be the missionary I want to become, and that she taught me how to make my mission MY own mission, and to have fun and use my own talents in my missionary work.
This week while Sis.Freeman and I were tracting we knocked on this door with a Vivint Home security system..so in other words the doorbell had a camera on it. Which made it real awkward when someone started saying "Hello! Hello?" over the doorbell speaker. We tried talking to whoever it was, but she couldn't hear us. So we awkwardly left her house haha. I noticed her cars in the driveway had Idaho license plates on it, so I was like they HAVE to know about Mormon Missionaries...and all of the sudden we get a call from a number we don't know and it was actually the Stake Relief Society President telling us she saw us on her porch and that she would be home in any minute haha. We had no idea who she was, but she let us in when she got home and she was the NICEST lady ever. Love her.
ALSO we taught the Restoration lesson to a lady who is pentecostal and she invited us to come back and teach another lesson and she invited us to her Lula Roe party too haha! I mean, we had to go right? To support a potential investigator! May or may not have bought clothes from her too...but only to show our support and to fellowship...
AND THE WILLIAMS WENT TO THE TEMPLE ON SATURDAY!!
We went to their house to help them find names to take to baptize their family who have passed away, and they all got to go together! With Misty too!! AHH THEY LOVED IT!! I am so happy for them! Bishop Trussell also stayed out in Baton Rouge to be there with them as well!! SO COOL!
Bishop and his wife Faith Trussell are awesome. They have two kids out on missions in Adriatic North Mission and in the Bagio Philippines Mission!! Their family is THE BEST!! We had lunch with them on Sunday and we also went Visiting Teaching with Sis.Trussell this week as well.
Anyways, talk to you all next week!! I love reading all of your emails and seeing your pictures!!
