"I'm going to Jackson" (same Johnny Cash..same)
GUYS!! YOUR GIRL IS GETTING TRANSFERRED. SOOO bitter sweet. I am so excited to get to serve in another area, I've been in Sumrall for the past 6 months, but it seriously KILLS ME to leave the Oak Grove ward!
Some highlights from my last week in Sumrall, MS:
- We helped the Beams put up some more of their Christmas lights (this family is going like..Temple Square all out for Christmas at their house) and we went inside for lunch one day and I looked above their fireplace in their doorway, and they had a quote from Neal A. Maxwell hanging up that said: "Each of us is an innkeeper who decides if their is room for Jesus." HAHA YESS #ModernDayProphets
- The Young Women had "Young Women In Excellence" this week and they went ALL out. The Young Women here are AMAZING!! It seriously broke my heart saying bye to them this weekend. Brooklyn and Addye went up and shared a little bit about the Young Women program along with all of the other girls, and they shared a little about Personal Progress and how this church has changed their lives..those girls are seriously amazing. May or may not have teared up a bit when they went up to speak..they make me cry whenever they go up to bare their testimonies as well- and they do it every fast Sunday!!
- Went around to say bye to some families this weekend, so hard to leave everyone here, I love them SOOOO much!!
I don't know exactly where my new area is going to be, but I know I am leaving the Hattiesburg Zone for the Jackson Zone tomorrow morning!! I'll let you know next week and give you all my new address when I find out as well!
