The Nou girl's are baptized!!
GUYS!! I HAVE THE BEST NEWS EVER!!
WE CAN GO TO THE TEMPLE NOW!!!!!
Their isn't a Temple in our mission (we will work on that though) so we used to be able to not go to the temple..sad. BUT NEW RULE!! We can either attend the Baton Rouge, Dallas, or Birmingham Temple (depending on where we are serving pretty much, and what Temple is closer) but we can go with a recent convert who is going to the temple for the first time!!! SO STOKED!!!
-Also I am 100% in the Christmas spirit starting this week. Not going to lie, I remember listening to Christmas music back when Sis.Pitt was training me in June, but still. It's actually Christmas time now. I am so excited.
Sis.Gunther was so excited about Christmas that she started carrying around #LightTheWorld pass-along cards, and she tried giving it to a group of ladies we were talking to in a store, and they literally backed away and said they don't celebrate Christmas...I was trying so hard not to laugh because Sis.Gunther was way excited about telling them about our Christmas initiative. It was pretty funny.
We also had our ward Relief Society Christmas craft night, and made like a billion coasters and some bath bombs and some signs (mostly for the Williams because they weren't able to make it) so that also hyped me up for Christmas...Michael Buble's Christmas album is literally all that we have been listening too. It's the best.
(I promise, I am only just a little bit obsessed, and yes, I know November just started.)
-Daylight savings also ended a couple days ago, and even though that extra hour of sleep came in clutch for 7:30 ward council the next morning, IT GETS PITCH BLACK AT 5:30PM. lame.
We literally tried to visit a less active member around that time, and she said:
"Who is it?"
"The sister missionaries!"
"Oh good Lord, isn't it too late?"
......."It's 5 ma'am?"
The south...I'm tellin' ya.. haha.
-MIKAYLA AND KAITLYN NOU GOT BAPTIZED!!!!! They are seriously the cutest girls ever. Love that family. It has been so fun teaching them the past few weeks and seeing their family come back to church!!
I love and miss you all so much!! Thanks for all the letters and emails!!
Talk to you next week!
XoXo,
Sister Hunt
